Uses the Cooper formula with distance converted from miles to meters.

Distance should be from a maximal 12-minute run on a flat course.

How to use

  1. Run as far as you can in exactly 12 minutes and record the distance in miles.
  2. Enter Distance in miles (e.g., 1.5 for a typical fit adult result).
  3. Optionally enter Age for context — the Cooper formula does not use it in the calculation.
  4. Read VO2max in ml/kg/min.
