How it works
Calculate concrete volume needed for a rectangular slab.
Who it's for: Homeowners, contractors, and DIY builders ordering ready-mix or bagged concrete.
Volume = length × width × thickness, converted to cubic yards.
Uses US customary units: feet for dimensions, cubic yards for output.
One cubic yard equals 27 cubic feet.
How to use
- Enter Length and Width of the slab in feet.
- Enter Thickness in feet (e.g., 4 inches = 0.33 ft).
- Read Volume in yd³ and order that amount from your supplier.
Good to know
- Add 5–10% extra for waste, uneven subgrade, and spillage during pour.
