T output

How it works

Calculate output speed and torque for a gear reduction or multiplication.

Who it's for: Mechanical designers working with gearboxes and drive trains.

n_out = n_in / i; T_out = T_in × i × η.

Ratio i > 1 reduces speed and increases torque (reducer).

η is efficiency (0–1).

How to use

  1. Enter input speed, input torque, ratio i, and efficiency η.
  2. Read output speed and output torque.
